Credit Card Applications Errors - Misspelled NameYou would be surprised at the number of simple errors people make when filling out credit card applications. Some of these errors will get your approval delayed, as the issuing company will have to contact you for further information. But there are other errors that go through and might not even get noticed right away. Many people who are not familiar with typing and filling out information on the computer can easily misspell their name by just punching a wrong letter on the keyboard. This can be such a little error, such as one letter being mistyped. It could be such a small error that your credit cards will actually have your misspelled name on it when you get it. For the most part if you have an error like this, you can just call the credit card company and have them fix it and send you a new card. This is one of the reasons you should be double-checking all the information before you submit any credit card applications and again when you receive your credit cards. You do not want to find out your name is misspelled when a store clerk will not accept it because the name doesn't match your driver's license.
