What to look for in Credit Cards and credit card applications?

  Many credit card applications come with the big and bold lettering of 0% APR for six months or 10,000 bonus reward miles with sign up.  But before applying with any of these credit card applications you need to be taking a deeper look into these credit cards.  All of these credit cards will have other benefits and some disadvantages.  The trick is to find out which ones are going to work the best for you.

  The main thing that people who carry a balance on their credit cards each month need to do is find out what the APR is going to be once the intro period ends. This is really important, as you need the lowest possible permanent APR when you carry a balance.  You will save money over the years if you find good low interest credit card applications.  The low Intro rate is great while it lasts but most people have their accounts for many years, long past when the intro APR ended.

  After that, I would check to see all the other benefits the credit card applications has.  Whether or not you get car rental insurance or travel insurance is a couple of things to be on the look out for.  And of course, you want to make sure you are not paying a huge annual fee for any credit cards that are not going to give you a ton of benefits.  If there is enough benefits that you will actually use them, I can see paying that annual fee.  But if you do not need something like that, then I would stick to credit cards without any annual fees.  Remember, the majority of people never cash in their reward points.

  I would suggest that for the most of the people they should be going with the credit card applications with the lowest APR.  Once you have found those credit cards, you can then decide which of these have the better benefits.  And after all of that and you have made your decision, apply online today.
